Last week I was lucky enough to get along to the 3 New Year Meet Up, an event organised in conjunction with the guys over at 3mobilebuzz.
It was a great opportunity for me to meet and talk to customers, bloggers, and mobile enthusiasts. As well as discussing their thoughts on our network, range of phones, price-plans, mobile internet products , customer service and more, we also had the chance to share some of our plans for 2010 and the direction we’re moving in.
Lots of my colleagues from 3 came along too, keen to get involved in the conversation and share a drink at the start of the year.
This isn’t the first time we’ve been involved in an event like this. 3mobilebuzz have been helping us to get face-to-face with tech bloggers, mobile enthusiasts, and customers for some time now. It’s another way for us to make sure we’re listening to what people have to say about us, and to have two-way conversations with the people who matter to us most – our customers.

Since starting this blog we’ve been able to get involved in even more of these kinds of conversations, and on an even more regular basis – not face-to-face, but through the comments under our posts. I hope you’re finding this as useful as we are. We’re learning all the time and taking on board feedback, good and bad, is a crucial part of our development as a business.

I really do hope that all the improvements you talked about will start bearing fruit in real life cs experiences. As I said, in my eyes the level of cs is the only slightly dark smudge on 3’s otherwise shining image. Hopefully not for long.
