The buzz that’s been generated around Apple’s iPad is already quite incredible. It’s been on-sale in the US for a short time now, and already it’s being hailed as a revolutionary product.
I’ve been playing with one, and I already love it.
We’re really excited that we’ve now made an agreement with Apple. And to make sure it’s been worth the wait, we’ve got some really market-leading plans ready for the launch of iPad in the UK.
Not only do we have 3G SIM Only data plans designed to support your iPad with Wi-Fi + 3G, but we’re also giving you a way of connecting your iPad Wi-Fi to the internet on the move.
MiFi is a mobile Wi-Fi device that fits in your pocket. It lets you create your own personal Wi-Fi network from our 3G network wherever you are. No wires, no installation, no need to search for a hotspot – and just £49.99 on Pay As You Go.
I won’t bore you with too many words, the data plans should speak for themselves, but we believe that we give you more data for your money than any other network.
Personally, I reckon our SIM Only 10GB for £15 a month plan is the best deal in the market :-).

But are these add ons for iPad? I need something like 7gb per month but it’s £25 what is quite expensive
@Chris – Thanks for the comment. We do currently offer payg add-ons which come with all-you-can-eat data. Click here to find out more.
Do you think 3 will bring out more pay as you go micro sims with more gb they have 1gb and 3gb at the moment? And also to make it more affordable why doesn’t 3 charge you £1 per gb so people who use over 15gb only pay around £20?
@David Marshall – Hmm now this is a tricky one… our 15GB iPad tarriff is the best on the market, so you’re doing well to use that much data. I guess the most affordable option would be to get a PAYG SIM too and swap it over when/if you reach your limit.
I bought an iPad 2 from you when they launched on the 15GB pay monthly tariff. I have been amazed how much data I have used and, unfortunately went over the limit this month. I eventually found on your site that you charge just over 10p a MB, resulting in a fairly horrendous charge (unfortunately the My 3 data usage utility didn’t work for a few days at this time). Is there any way of buying more data at a more reasonable charge as my only other option is to turn off cellular data once I have got to my limit?
@Gemma – You top up your sim cards in value terms, not in days or months. There are a number of ways to top-up and you can find out more by clicking here . It might be easier to dial 444 to top-up on this occasion
