Guest Post: Apps to bring lunchtime to life.

Something bad has happened. I don’t know when it happened and I didn’t see it coming but all I know is that I don’t like it. Not one little bit. If you’re like me, then you’ll have noticed it too – the lunch hour isn’t an hour anymore. What used to be a great time to relax and take care of some all-important chores has now turned into a 30 minutes of frenzied limp sandwich scoffing and one-handed typing while you’re still grinding it out for The Man. Bite, type, bite, type. But it’s time to fight back people. Time to reclaim one o’clock.  So stop dropping crumbs into that keyboard and start using these five apps to bring your lunch break back to life.

@AJE – Thanks for your comment – Looks like you do have a couple of issues with your local masts. These are being looked into and within the next week. If your coverage does not improve over the next few days, please let us know.

for android apps, one good link is http://www.techcredo.com/android/awesome-applications
you will get many more such lists on a google search, but the link above is a good starting point.

For Android. Try the game, air attack HD lite by art in games. There are other games with similar names, so try the one mentioned. It will blow your mind away. Might cost you your job though if you make it an extended lunch hour and forget to get back to work!

Hello again – my first communication for a while though I continue to follow the blog.

I’m having a little trouble and I’m not sure whether it’s the phone, NOKIA N8, or the network that is at fault.

For the last week or so the delivery of emails to my phone has been erratic, sometimes taking three or four days after they were sent to arrive on my phone (though they continue to arrive virtually instantaneously on my computer). One or two texts, both inward and outward, have also gone astray or have been delayed (e.g., a text sent at 10.14pm was not received until 12.41am – not a busy time of the day!).

My post code is (removed by mod) (please do not publish in its entirety).

    Thanking you in anticipation.
