The BlackBerry Torch 9810 has just been announced and I’m happy to confirm that it’ll be coming soon to Three.
This new phone is BlackBerry’s second Qwerty Touch Slider – as well as a full keypad which is revealed when you slide the phone apart, it also has a really responsive touch screen.
It comes with the latest BlackBerry OS 7 operating system and almost double the processing speed, which means it’s really fast to move from screen to screen. The Torch 9810 has a 5MP camera, with added HD functionality, this is great for those of you that enjoy taking and sharing your own photos.
This is a really exciting smartphone from BlackBerry – we know you guys loved the Torch 9800 in the past so we’re pretty confident you won’t be disappointed with this new addition to the BlackBerry range.
Check out our sneak peek at the BlackBerry Torch 9810 and let us know what you think

Speaking from experience with the torch 9800, will skype be a preloaded app?

Thank you for the info. I’m looking forward to.

I must say I use a Blackberry Bold 9780 on the one plan and can say to anyone thinking of using a blackberry to go with three, apart from a tech problem that I had with using a non braned three BB, I have had no issues on three at all. Network in Northern Ireland has been great and blackberry add on has worked very well for me.

Wouldnt mind trying this new vs of OS, wanna send me one to try out?
Moderator: Kaz 11/08/2011
@James – Yes, BlackBerry data services would be an extra £5 per month.
James 10/08/2011
Off track question.. I’m currently on the One Plan with an iPhone and therefore AYCE data. If I wanted to go back to using my Torch, would I still need to pay £5 a month on top of my bill to enable Blackberry data?

Peter 09/08/2011
You’re not going to put up your prices because some yobs are smashing up your Three Stores in the cities…

@Matthem Stuart – Not just yet I’m afraid. You can find out more about this phone soon. Just keep an eye on our coming soon page.

I have tried out this Blackberry and it is great. After reading this article I am wondering if it would be best to get it on the 3 network. Is there anywhere where I can see what price plans you will offer for this Blackberry?

Mod I can’t find the Skype on 3 program on Planet 3, can you post a direct link. Also, has it been updated with video chat
James 03/08/2011
Now that was a very sneak peek
Must admit I do regret getting rid of my old Torch for the iPhone but the new 9810 is looking really really good.
